The Enkya Empire is built up of a hierarchy of ranks. Below are listed the different ranks and how to achieve them. Ranks are important as they give perks to the users.
Peasant
Rank 0 in the Enkyan hierarchy. Users who join will immediately be granted this rank. This, of course, means that they need to build up trust before given certain responsibilities.

- make conversation
- like posts
- edit their bio

Citizen
Rank 1 in the Enkyan hierarchy. Citizens are users who enjoy participating in the activities Enkya provides. They read, write, and react to post.
How to achieve Citizen…
- Give 8 likes
- Receive 5 likes
- Enter 5 discussions
- Post 3 times
Citizens can…
- create private discussions
- add in more than 2 people in private discussions
- flag posts
- rollback own edit history
Knight
Rank 2 in the Enkyan hierarchy. They’ve been around the block several times. When leaders aren’t around, Knights are often able to help or give guidance. They’re a valuable asset to Enkya.
How to achieve Knight…
- given a minimum of 100 likes
- received a minimum of 75 likes
- have no more than 4 moderator warnings
Knights can…
- view flagged posts
- delete own edit history
- view poll results without voting
- request nickname change
- rename discussions
Note: Unlike previous ranks, users can lose Knight when inactive for too long. There will be a 3 month period in which the user is secure in the rank**. After 3 months, if the Guardians or Empress and Emperor deem the user to inactive, they may revoke the rank.
**if suspended, the user will automatically lose Knight.
Noble
Rank 3 in the Enkyan hierarchy. Nobles have proven their worth and wisdom again and again. They have boosted Enkya up with humour, advice, morale, and wisdom.
How to achieve Noble…
- the rank of Noble is not automatic like the previous ranks. Only a specific few are nominated by unbiased decisions to acquire this rank.
Nobles can…
- edit posts
- delete posts
- delete discussions
- tag and stick discussions
- merge discussions
Guardian
Rank 4 in the Enkyan hierarchy. Guardians are the moderators of Enkya. They make decisions and are great advisors to the members of enkya as well as the leaders. When there’s a problem, the Guardians are perfect to talk to.
How to achieve Guardian…
- the rank of Guardian is not automatic. Only a specific few are nominated by unbiased decisions to acquire this rank.
Guardians can…
- bypass requirements
- ban users
- permanently delete all posts
- create moderator warnings
- give and remove badges
Empress
Rank 5 in the Enkyan hierarchy. Empress is a special role assigned to only one person. She is second in command and works closely with the Guardians and Emperor. She often solves issues members may have.
How to achieve Empress…
- the rank of Empress is not automatic. She was nominated by Enkya to reign in a high leadership role
The Empress can…
- overrule the decisions of all previous ranks.
- be the mediator between the leaders and the members (if necessary)
Emperor
Rank 6 in the Enkyan hierarchy. Emperor is a special role assigned to one person. He works with the Empress and Guardians to maintain an orderly kingdom and manages the business side of Enkya.
